Happy New Year! After returning home from a wonderful visit with family, we are focusing on wrapping up our lives in East Lansing and preparing for our new lives in Zambia. While in New Hampshire and Arizona we managed to shop at L.L. Bean, EMS, and REI! Needless to say, we have almost completed our shopping! Many thanks to our family for also providing all those batteries, pack towels, waterproof watches, nalgenes, books and more.
In the next few weeks, Joy will be finishing up her teaching position and Joey will continue to work hard on his thesis before defending it in early February. So much to do, but so much to look forward to! We are still feeling very blessed and excited for this upcoming adventure!
